A stainless steel pressure cooker is the fuel-saving workhorse of the Indian kitchen — turning dal, rice, rajma and chole tender in minutes. This collection brings together every VINOD steel cooker in one place: the VINOD Doniv Titanium Triply cookers (in both outer-lid and inner-lid styles) and the VINOD Doniv Amaze sandwich-bottom cookers, from 2 to 6.5 litres, all induction-friendly and gas-compatible, plus money-saving combo sets.
The three ranges — which cooker is which?
- Titanium Triply — outer lid — full three-ply body (steel-aluminium-steel) with a traditional outer lid: 2 L, 3 L, 5 L.
- Titanium Triply — inner lid — the same triply body with a compact inner lid: 2 L, 3 L, 5 L.
- Amaze — sandwich-bottom, inner lid — heavy encapsulated base with an inner lid: 2 L, 3 L, 5 L, 6.5 L. See the full Amaze range.
- Combo sets — the 2 L + 3 L and 3 L + 5 L triply combos.
Outer lid vs inner lid
| Outer lid | Inner lid | |
|---|---|---|
| Lid closes | Over the outside of the rim | Drops inside the rim, locks upward |
| Feel | Traditional, easy to open/close | Compact, secure seal, stores neatly |
Triply vs sandwich bottom
A triply cooker has three bonded layers through the whole body, spreading heat up the sides as well as the base. A sandwich bottom (Amaze) bonds a thick heat-spreading base to the bottom. Both give even, efficient cooking; triply is the premium construction, while the sandwich-bottom Amaze offers even base heat at a friendlier price. For the full triply cookware range, see Titanium Triply.
Which size should you buy?
| Capacity | Serves |
|---|---|
| 2 L | 1–2 people |
| 3 L | 3–4 people |
| 5 L | 5–6 people |
| 6.5 L | Large / joint family |
A 2 L + 3 L combo is a popular all-round pick — a small cooker for dal and a larger one for rice or sabzi.
Material, induction & care
Every VINOD steel pressure cooker is food-grade, rust-free and non-reactive, so it will not react with acidic sambar or tomato gravies or leach into food — healthier and longer-lasting than aluminium. All are induction-friendly and gas-compatible. Check the gasket and safety valve regularly and replace the gasket when it hardens — genuine gaskets are in our spare parts collection. Backed by VINOD Steel's product warranty, from a brand making stainless steel in India since 1962.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between outer-lid and inner-lid cookers?
An outer-lid cooker closes over the outside of the rim like a traditional cooker; an inner-lid cooker's lid drops inside the rim and locks upward for a compact, secure seal. We offer triply in both, and Amaze in inner lid.
What is the difference between triply and sandwich bottom?
Triply has three bonded layers through the whole body (heat up the sides too); sandwich bottom bonds a thick heat-spreading base to the bottom. Triply is premium; sandwich bottom is even-heat value.
Which VINOD cooker range should I choose?
Choose Titanium Triply for premium three-ply construction (outer or inner lid), or Amaze for a sandwich-bottom inner-lid cooker, including the large 6.5 L.
Which size pressure cooker do I need?
2 L for 1–2 people, 3 L for 3–4, 5 L for 5–6, and 6.5 L for a large family. A 2 L + 3 L combo suits most homes.
Are VINOD pressure cookers induction-friendly?
Yes. Every cooker works on both induction cooktops and LPG gas without an adapter.
Is stainless steel better than aluminium?
Yes. Steel is rust-free and non-reactive, so it does not react with acidic food or leach, making it healthier and longer-lasting.
Where do I get a replacement gasket?
Genuine VINOD Doniv gaskets are available in our spare parts collection.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, backed by VINOD Steel's product warranty, from a brand trusted since 1962.
